Lagg – Corriecravie (70cl, 55%)

Corriecravie is the second release in the core range from Lagg, the Arran distillery opened in 2019 as a sister to the Arran distillery. Lagg makes only smoky whisky, using water from its own well. The malted barley is peated to 50ppm and the spirit is distilled twice. It matured first in ex-bourbon casks, then received a finish in sherry casks. It is bottled at 55% ABV, non-chill-filtered and with no added colouring. Peat smoke runs through it, alongside dark chocolate and a range of red berries.
