This is the second batch of the inaugural release from Lagg, a heavily peated single malt from the Isle of Arran. Like Batch 1, it was distilled twice. The spirit spent 30 months in first-fill ex-bourbon barrels, then six months in 55-litre ex-Oloroso sherry firkins, which were made specially for the distillery. It is usually described as a well-balanced malt with notes of sultanas, warm spices and smoke.
