Batch 3 of the Lagg Inaugural Release 2022 series, a heavily peated single malt bottled at 50% ABV. Lagg is a distillery on the southern tip of the Isle of Arran, and its first casks were filled in April 2019.
The whisky spent 30 months in bourbon barrels before a finish in heavily charred Rioja red wine casks.
This batch is described as a step away from the style usually expected from Lagg.
