Lagg – Kilmory Edition Single Malt (46%)

Lagg Kilmory Edition is the first core range release from Lagg Distillery on the Isle of Arran, bottled at 46%. It takes its name from the village of Lagg in the parish of Kilmory, where the distillery was founded, and is the first permanent single malt from Arran Distillers. It is distilled from Concerto barley peated to 50 ppm and matured entirely in first-fill ex-bourbon casks. It is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour. The nose is vegetal and fruity, with smoked heather and burnt citrus. The palate is smoky and fruity, an opening burst of fruit giving way to a gentle wood smoke. The finish is lingering, rich in citrus and peat.
