Lagg – Kilmory Heavily Peated Single Malt Whisky (70cl, 46%)

Lagg Kilmory is a heavily peated single malt from Lagg Distillery, and the first release in its core range. It is bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle, without chill filtration or added colour. The whisky is matured entirely in first-fill bourbon barrels. It is made from Concerto barley, peated to 50ppm in the kiln, mashed to a cloudy wort and distilled twice in copper pot stills, using water from the distillery's own borehole. Its character is described as peat alongside the vanilla and cream of American oak.
