The Corriecravie Edition is a single malt from Lagg Distillery on Arran, named after a hamlet just northwest of the village of Lagg. The area was home to some of the illicit stills behind the 'Arran water' of early distilling on the island.
It was first matured in Bourbon barrels, then finished for around six months in Oloroso sherry hogsheads from the producer Miguel Martin in Jerez. It is bottled at 55% without chill filtration and with no added colouring. The result is a sweeter smoke alongside rich fruit.
