Lagg – Single Malt Kilmory Edition (46%)

Lagg Kilmory is a single malt from Lagg Distillery, the sister distillery of Arran, and a core release named after the small parish where the distillery stands. It is matured entirely in first-fill ex-bourbon casks, peated to 50 ppm and bottled at 46% ABV. The nose is sweet and peaty, with oranges, grapefruit, charred lemon and pineapple under gentle ashy smoke, like bonfire embers. The palate is bright, with citrus, cream soda and crème brûlée, then earthy peat, cigar tobacco and old leather on a thick, oily texture. The finish is short to medium, with earthy smoke and peppercorn spice.
