Langatun – Old Crow (50cl, 46%)

Langatun Old Crow is a peated Swiss single malt from the Bern region, bottled at 46% in a 50cl bottle. The malted barley is dried over smoke from burning peat, which gives the whisky its smokiness. It is one of the first whiskies in Switzerland, and on the European mainland, made this way. In the glass it is amber with reddish tones. The nose is sweet smoke and tobacco. The palate brings smoky, salty caramel, sweet smoke and a hint of red wine. The finish is warming, with tobacco, dark chocolate and peanut butter.
