Langatun – Old Woodpecker Organic (50cl, 46%)

Langatun Old Woodpecker is a Swiss single malt made only from organically grown barley, and produced throughout to certified organic guidelines. It is bottled at 46% in a 50cl bottle. It matures in Chardonnay oak casks, which bring a fruity note, some freshness and a spicy character alongside a little sweetness. The nose is delicately sweet, reminiscent of candied orange peel. The palate has fruit, caramel and balanced tannins, with light notes of chilli chocolate. The finish keeps a lingering note of oak with caramel.
