This is a ten-year-old Islay single malt from Laphroaig, matured in sherry casks. The nose is smoky and sweet, with honey and clove, and behind them iodine, smoked bacon, pine and tar. The palate is sweet, with medicinal smoke, caramel syrup, chocolate and maple syrup, leading to a long, spicy finish.
