Laphroaig 15 Years Old is an Islay single malt bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It brings an age statement to the distillery's core range. The whisky spends 15 years in carefully selected American oak ex-bourbon casks. That long maturation is described as giving depth and balance between intense peat smoke, maritime notes and an elegant sweetness. Smoke, spice and fruity accents are said to play together harmoniously, in the peated style Laphroaig has been known for over generations.
