This is Laphroaig 16 Year Old, an Islay single malt bottled at 48% ABV. It is gold in colour.
The nose is light, smoky and medicinal, with grapefruit and a hint of sea air. On the palate come smoke, grapefruit, a touch of salt and a little iodine, along with a note of mango jam. The finish is medium in length, with a little more oak.
