Laphroaig 18 Year Old is a single malt matured in ex-bourbon American oak and bottled at 48% in a 70cl bottle. It pairs the distillery's smoky character with intense vanilla and sweet ripe fruit, with woody peat smoke coming through on the finish.
Deep gold in colour, it has a nose of smoky peat, sweet vanilla, soft toffee and gooseberry. The palate brings spicy cinnamon and freshly baked apple tart, and the finish is full and fruity with mint and peaty notes.
