This is a 1990 Laphroaig single malt from Islay, bottled independently by Hunter Laing at 49.8% ABV in a 70cl bottle. Laphroaig was founded in 1826 on the south coast of Islay by Donald and Alex Johnston. The distillery has its own peat fields, reached by the shortest railway in the world, and its own floor maltings. The whisky is known for a smoky, phenolic character with iodine and salt.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
