This is a 2015 Laphroaig single malt from Islay, bottled independently by James Eadie at 52.3% ABV in a 70cl bottle. Laphroaig was founded in 1826 on the south coast of Islay by Donald and Alex Johnston. The distillery has its own peat fields, reached by the shortest railway in the world, and its own floor maltings. The whisky is known for a smoky, phenolic character with iodine and salt.
