This is Laphroaig 21 Year Old, an Islay single malt released in 2008 to mark the opening of Terminal 5 at Heathrow Airport. It is a distillery bottling in a 70cl bottle, drawn from nine casks chosen by distillery manager John Campbell. Only 750 individually numbered bottles were filled, at a natural cask strength of 53.4%. The spirit was distilled in the late 1980s. It is described as setting Laphroaig's medicinal peat smoke alongside tropical fruit, vanilla, sea salt and polished oak.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
