This is a 22-year-old Laphroaig single malt from Islay, distilled in 2004 and bottled by Morrison Distillers as part of the Càrn Mòr Celebration of the Cask. It spent all 22 years in a single bourbon barrel.
It was bottled at natural cask strength, without chill-filtration or artificial colouring. The barrel added creamy vanilla and cracked pepper to the bonfire smoke of this heavily peated, coastal malt.
