This is the 2013 release of Laphroaig 25 Year Old Cask Strength, the sixth annual release in the distillery's cask strength series. It was bottled in 2013 at its natural strength of 45.1%, without chill filtration, in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky matured for 25 years in a combination of American oak and Oloroso sherry casks. Its notes include polished oak, rich dried fruits, dark chocolate and warming spices, alongside maritime smoke, iodine and sea salt.
