Laphroaig Four Oak is a smoky Islay single malt matured in four different types of oak. It is a travel retail edition, bottled at 40% ABV in a large 1 litre bottle.
The four oaks give a layered character, with peat smoke alongside wood, sweetness and soft spice.
The nose brings peat smoke, ash, light vanilla and toffee. The palate is smoky and woody, with caramel and spice. The finish is medium in length, smoky and softly sweet.
