A Laphroaig single malt matured in quarter casks, in a 70cl bottle at 48% ABV. The colour is amber with old-gold highlights.
The nose is broad and firm, marked by chocolate and oily peat. With time in the glass it moves towards iodine and salty notes of seafood, and on to citrus, particularly orange.
The palate is balanced and very fruity, and it develops as it goes.
