Laphroaig Select Cask is an Islay single malt bottled at 40% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The master distiller chose spirit from Quarter Cask, PX Cask and Triple Wood, the last matured in European oak, and added a final portion of 10 Year Old.
The whisky then has a final maturation in new American oak casks, which are rarely used for Scotch. It is a full-bodied malt that combines peat, oak and sweetness, with Laphroaig's trademark peat reek and extra depth from the different oaks.
