Laphroaig – Strong Characters (Chapter 1) 33 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky (70cl, 43.8%)

Laphroaig Strong Characters (Chapter 1) is a 33 year old single malt Scotch whisky, the first chapter in a series celebrating the people who have shaped Laphroaig. It is bottled at a fixed strength of 43.8% in a 70cl bottle. The whisky was matured in a selection of American oak ex-bourbon casks and European oak sherry-seasoned hogsheads. The nose is creamy fudge with honey and a touch of sea salt. The palate opens with stewed fruit and smooth vanilla creme brulee. The finish is smoky, with savoury notes of cured meat.
