Lark No.285 Ruby Abyss is a Tasmanian single malt from Lark Distillery in Hobart, bottled at 43.8% in a 70cl bottle.
It is matured entirely in first-fill vintage Port and Sherry casks, made possible by a partnership with Seppeltsfield Wines and its century-old Australian Port reserve. Tasmanian peat smoke runs through it.
The nose offers dark fruits and caramelised brown sugar, followed by silky mocha on the palate. The finish has brandy snap sweetness with delicate peat smoke.
