Lauder's Queen Mary Special Reserve (1L, 40%)

Lauder's Queen Mary Special Reserve is a blended Scotch whisky in a 1000ml bottle, bottled at 40%. It recalls Glasgow's engineering past: Archibald Lauder began selling his whiskies in the city in the nineteenth century, and ships built on the Clyde, the Queen Mary and Queen Elizabeth among them, helped carry Scotch around the world. The master blender chose whiskies from the Highlands and Speyside, matured in ex-bourbon and ex-sherry oak casks. The nose combines dried fruit with roasted coffee and winter spices. On the palate come raisins and plums with rich sherry oak and touches of caramel, followed by a long finish of delicate caramel, pear and sherry.
