Lawrenny River Mist is a peated single malt from Tasmania, Australia, in a 70cl bottle at 53.8% ABV. It was matured in Sylvain Signature virgin French oak barrels, a type of cask usually used for fine French wines, and has a sunburst amber colour.
The nose is led by peat, ranging from highland clover to earthy campfire embers. On the palate come bold smoke, burnt citrus and warming gingerbread, with buttery oak and French vanilla alongside.
