Leapfrog is a 13-year-old single malt from Murray McDavid, distilled in 2011 and bottled in 2025 at 54.4%, in a 70cl bottle.
It was matured in ex-bourbon barrels, which bring vanilla, honey, caramel, citrus and spicy oak.
The nose is vanilla, honey cake, spice and fresh oak. The palate shows caramel, citrus fruit, wood and subtle smoke. The finish is long and warm, with oak and spice.
