Ledaig Castaway (70cl, 61.1%)

A peated single malt from Tobermory Distillery on the Isle of Mull, matured with influence from Caribbean rum casks and Mexican tequila casks. This is the first time the two have been used together for Ledaig. It is bottled without an age statement at 61.1%, without chill-filtering or added colour, in an edition of 6,428 bottles. Castaway is the third limited Ledaig edition made with the Mull and Iona Community Trust. For 2026 it supports the trust's Ranger Service with 20,000 pounds. The nose brings peat smoke and caramelised banana with lime zest and vanilla. Grilled pineapple, brine and herbal agave meet smoky spice on the palate. The finish is long and warming, like glowing peat embers, with demerara sweetness, chilli heat and a last touch of lime.
