Ledaig Triple Wood (Limited Edition)

Ledaig Triple Wood is an inaugural limited release, created with Gordon Buchanan, the wildlife filmmaker, and Tobermory Distillery's Island Ambassador. It also marks a partnership with the Mull and Iona Community Trust, which works to protect and conserve the island of Mull in the Hebrides. The whisky brings together three Ledaig single malts, matured in wine, bourbon and port casks, and blended by Master Blender Julieann Fernandez. It is a smoky malt with hints of apple, vanilla, oak and toffee. The nose is poached pears with cinnamon, butterscotch and cream soda. The palate has apple strudel, vanilla ice cream, black pepper, wood smoke and treacle toffee, and the smoky finish carries cloves and a touch of maple syrup.
