A single cask single malt from Cawdor Springs, distilled at Royal Brackla Distillery. It was matured for 8 years in a refill bourbon barrel, finished in a Fino sherry hogshead and bottled at 54.5% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is one of 230 bottles, non-chill filtered and with no added colouring. The release takes the idiom Seal of Approval. Royal Brackla was the first distillery to receive a royal warrant from King William IV, 110 years before the one granted to Royal Lochnagar. The nose is fresh and crisp, with lemon citrus, chamomile and delicate nutty notes. The palate balances olive oil richness with a touch of coastal salinity, and the finish is dry, briny and warmly persistent.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
