Lhéraud Vieux Pineau des Charentes 15 Year Old

This is a 15-year-old Pineau des Charentes from the Lhéraud family, whose story in the Petite Champagne goes back to 1680. The family makes its cognacs, armagnacs and pineaux at the Lasdoux estate in Angeac, where Limousin oak casks rest in five stone cellars built from pale Charente stone. Ageing there is natural, with nothing added and nothing reduced. The 85 hectares of vineyard are planted with ugni blanc, colombard and folle blanche, mostly in the Petite Champagne, which brings roundness and a scent of violets.
