Limeburners Sherry Single Malt Cask Strength (70cl, 61%)

Limeburners Sherry is a single malt from Albany in Western Australia, bottled at a cask strength of 61% in a 70cl bottle. It is made from Southern Australian barley, with hard and soft water drawn from limestone aquifers near the distillery. The whisky matures first in a second-fill bourbon barrel and is then finished in an Australian sherry cask. It is bottled as it comes from the barrel, with no caramel colouring or cold filtration. Neat, the nose shows spice and fruit. With water it opens to malted barley, sherry, vanilla, honey, raisins and buttery caramel. The palate is full and complex, and the finish smooth.
