Friar John Cor Chapter III is a single malt from Lindores Abbey, bottled at 60.2% in a 70cl bottle. The series honours Friar John Cor, who in 1494 was commissioned by King James IV to make aqua vitae at Lindores Abbey, the first written record of Scotch whisky.
This chapter is matured in three hand-selected cask types: ex-bourbon casks, Amontillado sherry casks and Pedro Ximenez sherry casks.
