Lindores Bourbon Cask is a Lowland single malt matured in bourbon casks, bottled at 49.4% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It comes from The Casks of Lindores range.
The distillery stands among the ruins of the old Lindores monastery. A written record from 1494 shows the monk John Cor being commissioned by King James IV to turn eight bolls of malt into aqua vitae. Distilling began again on the site in 2017, and the first whisky was released in spring 2021, 527 years after that entry.
