Lindores Thiron Single Malt

Lindores Thiron is a limited edition single malt Scotch whisky from Lindores Abbey Distillery. The name comes from Thiron-Gardais, the French town that was the birthplace of the monks who founded Lindores Abbey, which the Lindores family visited in 2016. Part of the whisky was matured in casks made from wood sourced in Thiron-Gardais. It is joined by spirit from rejuvenated red wine barriques and bourbon casks. The nose offers vanilla cake, caramel syrup, baking spices and plum jam. On the palate come oaky vanilla, butterscotch, more plum jam with cinnamon and ginger, and roasted chestnuts.
