Chapter II is a special bottling of Lowland single malt from Lindores Abbey, part of its Friar John Cor Congregation series. It is bottled at 60.9%, without chill-filtration and in natural colour. The malt is made only from barley grown in Fife, and it matures in a combination of bourbon, rum and wine casks. The nose offers maple syrup, dates, banana, green apple and cinnamon, with a faint hint of peat. Cashews and almonds meet banana and apple on the palate, alongside salty seaweed and earthy peat. The finish is long and intense, with cinnamon spice standing out.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
