Lindores Abbey – Nectere Single Malt (70cl, 47.2%)

Lindores Abbey Nectere is a Lowland single malt matured entirely in four types of sherry cask: Oloroso, Pedro Ximenez, Amontillado and Palo Cortado. It is bottled at 47.2% ABV in a 70cl bottle, without added colour and non-chill-filtered. The Pedro Ximenez casks bring rich sweetness, Oloroso dark fruit, Amontillado a dry nuttiness and Palo Cortado spice. The nose is raisins, dark molasses and vanilla cream. The palate offers dark fruit, nutty macaroons and pecans. The finish is long and spicy.
