This is the first release in the second series of Casks of Lindores from Lindores Abbey Distillery. It is a single malt matured in ex-bourbon casks and bottled at 49.4% in a 70cl bottle.
It contains older whisky than the first release in the series.
The nose offers vanilla, buttercream, sweet pears, ripe banana and subtle citrus, with a touch of peppery spice. On the palate come green apples, banana, lemon and oaky wood. The finish is medium, with caramel and spice.
