Lindores Single Malt Bourbon Cask

Lindores Single Malt Bourbon Cask is a single malt Scotch whisky from Lindores Abbey, the site of the first recorded distillation of Scotch whisky in 1494. The distillery was built from 2016, with the first distillation in 2017 and the first whisky released in 2021. The wash ferments for 117 hours, one of the longest periods in Scotch whisky, and the stills are set up with an unusual sister spirit arrangement. The nose offers ripe banana, pears and vanilla with a touch of pepper. The palate has green apple, lemon, oak, coffee beans and peppery spice, with a silky texture and a finish of medium length.
