Lindores MCDXCIV is a single malt Scotch whisky from the site associated with the 1494 Exchequer Roll record of Scotch distillation. Distilling began at the new distillery in 2017, using a 117-hour wash fermentation and a sister spirit still arrangement.
The nose combines soft vanilla and caramel with orchard fruit, pear drops and toffee apple. The palate is smooth and creamy, bringing together vanilla, dried fruit and touches of citrus, with a little spice.
