This is a 10 year old Speyside single malt from Linkwood, bottled by James Eadie. It was distilled in 2010 and bottled in 2021 at 46% ABV, after maturing in re-charred hogsheads. A total of 1,182 bottles were filled, non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
The nose is full of classic floral and citrus notes, with sparkling orange and honey beside lemon sorbet and icing sugar, and a light touch of cut grass. The palate has fizzy lemon and orange sweets that sit well with buttery shortbread and icing sugar, then lemon cake with orange peel.
The finish is medium in length, with buttery pastry and a lingering note of peppery lemon sorbet.
