Linkwood – 11 Year Old 2013/2024 Dràm Mòr Ex-Caol Ila Oloroso Cask

This is an 11-year-old Speyside single malt from Linkwood, bottled by the independent bottler Dràm Mòr. It was distilled in 2013 and bottled in 2024. The whisky matured in an Oloroso sherry cask that had previously held Caol Ila, and the bottling is a single cask release. The nose is full and very fruity, with a clear note of smoke. On the palate there is plenty of fruit and pronounced oak spice. In the finish, some peat smoke combines well with sherry notes.
