A 15-year-old Linkwood in Gordon & MacPhail's Distillery Labels series, matured in first-fill and refill sherry casks. Bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle, it is non-chill-filtered and of natural colour. Alongside the sherry influence it shows fresh berry and citrus notes with sweet and spicy impressions.
The nose is fresh and fruity: dry sherry with ripe strawberries and raspberries, a light lemon note, then bitter orange marmalade with warm cinnamon and toffee. The palate starts intensely sweet and softens, with cinnamon and clove, then creamy white chocolate and juicy mandarin. The finish is medium in length and rounded, with fresh herbs and a drying hint of cocoa powder.
