This is a Speyside single malt from Linkwood, distilled in April 1959 and bottled by Gordon & MacPhail in March 2009 at about 50 years old. It comes in a 70cl bottle at 45% ABV.
The whisky matured in a first fill sherry hogshead, and the cask shows in its colour. Only 176 bottles were released.
It forms part of the Private Collection series from Gordon & MacPhail, which was first launched in the late 1990s.
