Linkwood 1990 is a 33-year-old Speyside single malt, bottled by The Whisky Agency for its 15th anniversary as part of the Blocks collection. It was distilled in 1990 at Linkwood Distillery and bottled in 2024 at 49.7% ABV, after more than three decades in a hogshead. It is a single-cask release, non-chill-filtered and without added colouring.
The nose offers honey, quince, yellow apples, beeswax and toasted almonds, with chamomile, Mediterranean herbs and a hint of mint. The palate is oily, with quince, cider apples, floral honey and gentle resinous notes. The finish is long and warming, with orchard fruit, honeyed malt and soft herbal spice.
