This is a 26 year old single malt from Linkwood, distilled in 1994 and bottled in 2021 by Gordon & Macphail for its Connoisseurs Choice range. It is bottled at a cask strength of 52.5% in a 70cl bottle. The whisky was matured in a refill sherry butt, and 627 bottles were released. The tasting notes describe rich sherry aromas alongside autumnal spices and oak. On the palate, stewed red berries lead to cinnamon and toffee apples, followed by a medium-bodied finish with lingering spice.
