Linkwood – 1997 26 Years Old Signatory Vintage Strength Collection (70cl, 53%)

This is a single malt from Linkwood, bottled by Signatory Vintage at 26 years old. It was distilled on 30 June 1997 and bottled on 3 October 2023, at a strength of 53%, in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in a single bourbon hogshead, cask 7585, which gave 333 bottles. Linkwood stands south of Elgin in a parkland setting of about four hectares, and the Burn of Linkwood supplies its cooling water. The distillery is thought to have been founded around 1825 by Peter Brown.
