A 15-year-old Speyside single malt from Linkwood, distilled on 4 April 2008 and bottled on 23 May 2023 at a cask strength of 57.6%, in a 70cl bottle. It is a Whisky Bibliothek bottling.
The whisky matured in an ex-bourbon hogshead, which gave 251 bottles. Linkwood's Speyside malt is described as light, fruity and fresh.
The nose combines citrus, vanilla and honey with butterscotch, pear drops, baked brioche, syrupy notes and a subtle herbal edge. The palate is thick and creamy, with tropical fruit, marzipan, buttery pastry, vanilla cream and blossom honey. The finish brings sweet barley malt, brown sugar and oak spice, long and warming.
