A 12-year-old Linkwood single malt from Speyside, distilled in January 2010 and bottled in October 2022 at cask strength, 57% ABV, by Brave New Spirits for its Yellow Edition series. It matured throughout in a single 1st fill Oloroso cask, and 367 bottles were filled, each 70cl. Linkwood is known for a light, fruity and fresh style, with its fruit character coming from an ultra-clear wort and slow distillation in copper stills. Here sweet fruit and matured oak tones come together in a sherry-led malt. The nose offers raisins, figs, oranges, honey and hazelnuts. On the palate come candied oranges and cocoa powder, with black pepper and a light ginger heat.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
