Linkwood 2010 13 Year Old - Thompson Bros. (54%)

This 13 year old Speyside single malt was distilled at Linkwood on 3 February 2010. It was matured in a dechar wine hogshead and bottled by Thompson Bros. in February 2023 at 54% ABV, with an outturn of 260 bottles. The cask is described as adding texture while leaving Linkwood's fruity spirit at the front. The whisky shows ripe orchard fruit, honey, creamy vanilla, delicate floral notes and soft oak spice, leading to a long, balanced finish.
