This Linkwood was distilled in March 2010 and bottled in 2022 at 11 years old and 53% ABV. It was selected and bottled by The Vintage Malt Whisky Co. Ltd. for its Cooper's Choice series, and only 348 bottles were filled, in 70cl size.
The whisky matured in American oak, then was finished in Muscat wine casks, which add depth, sweetness and a soft aromatic character.
The nose is floral and sweet, with ripe apricots, honey malt and light spices. The palate offers soft fruit, Muscat grapes, vanilla, creamy malt and subtle wood. The finish is medium to long, with lingering sweetness and a fine wine influence.
